Top Ten Tuesday - March 26th, 2013

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at the Broke and the Bookish, and it's where book bloggers list their top tens. Feel free to check out their blog if you are interested in joining, or if you would like more information.

This weeks Top Ten Tuesday is...

The Top Ten Books I Would Recommend (which are in no particular order)
And I'm not recommending The Hunger Games... Even though it's amazing
  1. Variant by Robison Wells. SOOOOO GOOD!! This is probably one of the best books that I've ever read. I can't stress enough how great this book is!
  2. Legend by Marie Lu. I just read this recently and it easily became a new favourite.
  3. Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. I read this book at the beginning of this year and it was such a great way to start off.
  4. Blood Red Road by Moira Young. This book takes a bit of getting used to, as far as the writing style goes, but after 40 pages you can't stop reading.
  5. Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I know that this book isn't for everyone, but I still really enjoyed it and I think everyone should try it out.
  6. The Breadwinner Trilogy by Deborah Ellis. I love it!!! This book is what makes me want to read more historical fiction.
  7. Divergent by Veronica Roth. I hope you all know what this book is. It's really extremely good, and if you don't know what it is... I don't know what to say.
  8. Cinder by Marissa Meyer. This book was only a 4 four for me, but the second book, Scarlet, was soooooo good and made up for it.
  9. The Maze Runner by James Dashner. Beware. The main character is SOOOOO annoying. But the plot is so good and the world is so interesting!
  10. Th1rteen R3asons Why by Jay Asher. This book is life changing. Life. Changing. Everyone must read this book.

  1. The Maze Runner was such a blast! Have you read further in the series? What did you think of the next books?

    1. I haven't read further in the series, but I really want to! Have you? I've heard that they go downhill from the first one, which makes me unhappy, but I'm still going to read them.

  2. The Breadwinner was required reading in the 6th grade for me, but we never read the other two books -- they probably weren't published yet. Deborah Ellis came to our school to give a speech about her experiences while writing the book, which was memorable. I will have to check the entire trilogy out sometime!

    1. In grade 6 we had a choice between 5 books and The Breadwinner was one of them, although I didn't choose it because I already had read it.

Random Fact: My cousin gave me the trilogy for my birthday and that's what got me into it. She said she loved them, and that's something coming from her. She never reads anything!

You should defiantly look into the other two books. The second one is really good. The third was my least favourite, but still worth it. Thanks for looking at my blog! I will defiantly look at yours.
